Riverside Tabernacle & Power of God Ministries
Two Churches Become One Church

The combining of Riverside Tabernacle and Power Of God Ministries has been in the making for over 4 years. What began as a fellowship of two churches evolved into a marriage of two families becoming one. We are not coming together as two pastors to do two separate jobs, we will work together in an integrated way to meet the pastoral needs of our new church “Every Nation.”

Tom & Rhonda Mattiuzzo

Tom and Rhonda have served at Riverside since January 1992, having previously ministered with congregations in Bethel Park and Edinboro, PA. 1978 graduates of Central Bible College, Tom hails from Lockport, NY, and Rhonda from Lima, OH. Their heart for the whole family of God to be unified has made a huge impact on the community. They are blessed to be the proud parents of four sons (and three beautiful daughters), and four beloved grandchildren.

Micah 4:2

Many nations will come and say,
“Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord and to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us about His ways and that we may walk in His paths.”
For from Zion will go forth the law,
Even the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Michael & Sharon Stone

The Power of God Ministries was founded April 30, 2000 and incorporated on July 19, 2000, by Pastor Michael R. Stone, his wife Sharon Stone and several charter members. The Power of God Ministries started their first services at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, then purchased the Beecher Nazarene Church, where they were able to Grow, Serve and Reach the community. Together in this blessed union they have 3 sons, (2 daughters) and 5 wonderful grandchildren.

We are a diverse congregation meeting in the heart of our city. We come from neighborhoods all over Genesee County, HELPING PEOPLE FOLLOW CHRIST.

Move around our site and discover how people of all ages and backgrounds, empowered by the Holy Spirit, have become partners in the meaningful purposes of God in downtown Flint. At Every Nation Church, you will find uplifting music and worship, encouraging and practical messages, Christ followers walking out the journey together as family, platforms for discovering and growing in God’s design and purpose, and many opportunities to serve.

There is a greatness and fulfillment that only comes from following Jesus Christ – we would love to be a part of your faith journey – discovering, growing, and serving together in this city that He treasures. We pray we’ll get to meet you soon!

He Is Worthy

You are worthy…because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. (NIV)

Revelation 5:9

Faith Promise giving has been central in supporting Every Nation’s mission’s commitment.  It is important for anyone who considers themselves a committed part of Every Nation to understand a Faith Promise. A Faith Promise is initiated by a person prayerfully seeking the Lord as to what part they should have in world evangelism.  Faith Promises are made annually at the Faith Promise Missions Sunday Service at Every Nation, as a result, a person decides to make a weekly or monthly commitment to world mission’s ministry.

It is also important that every person consider making a Faith Promise.  Faith Promise giving should be above and beyond the tithe.  The tithe is to be given to the local church, Faith Promises are given for world outreach.
